Play Offs 2019
Posted on May 6, 2019
All paid in full teams are eligible to play in the play offs.
The playoffs are a double elimination tournament with cash prizes. Your team must loose twice to be out of the tournament.
Each player can substitute on many different teams during the season and may play on two different teams during the Playoffs as long as the two teams are not in the same Flight. No Playoff games will be rescheduled to accommodate any player trying to play on more than one team. In order to qualify, each player must have a minimum of 40 games on that team during the regular season. All games will use the 25 game format and 25 game score sheets.
Flight 1 and 2 are not handicapped and are a race to 13 wins.
Flights 3 and 4 are not handicapped and the winner of each match is the team with the highest total score. If the teams are tied at the end of their match, the teams will play the last round over as it stands on the score sheet until a winner is decided.
The home team is the team who placed highest in the standings. In the event of a dispute, the score sheet from the home team will be considered correct.
The person who breaks will rack their own balls.
Each flight will have 5, 7, 8 or 10 teams. The first place team of a flight of 7 will have a bye. There is prize money for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and sometimes 4th and 5th place teams of each flight depending upon the number of teams in that flight.
Each match on Saturday and Sunday will have 2 tables to play on. In order to help pay for the extra tables needed, there will be a $10.00 per team, per match fee on those two days.
